Little Church

Children's Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children ages 4 - 8 years old  to listen to God's word. It's offered on the third Sunday of the month at the 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM Masses. After a prayer of dismissal by Fr. Mitchel the children gather with two adults in the Chapel to hear and reflect on the day's Scripture reading for about 20 minutes. Children rejoin the assembly after the General Intercessions. 

Adults with a love of liturgy proclaim the Scriptures and lead the children in discussion. A training session is required.  Fill out the form to the left if you are interested in volunteering. 

One training session, plus VIRTUS training is required for working with children. Resource materials are available.
